Ms. Afroza Shahin is a visionary business leader with a strong foundation in corporate management. She currently serves as the Managing Director of Team Group, a prominent business conglomerate in Bangladesh. Ms. Shahin assumed this leadership role following the untimely passing of her husband, Mr. Abdullah Hil Rakib, the founding Managing Director. In continuing his legacy, she has brought strategic insight, resilience, and compassionate leadership to the Group’s operations.

Before taking over at Team Group in an executive capacity, Ms. Shahin played a pivotal role in the success of Twelve Clothing Limited, serving as its Managing Director since its inception. Under her direction, Twelve Clothing expanded into global markets and established itself as a growing international brand.

Her corporate achievements are underpinned by a strong academic background. Ms. Shahin completed her MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, followed by postgraduate training at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. She is also an alumna of Mymensingh Girls Cadet College, where she cultivated the leadership values and discipline that continue to guide her today.

At Team Pharmaceuticals Ltd., her leadership and strategic direction contribute to the continued development of the company as an important part of the TEAM Group. Lamia Tabassum is the Chairman of Team Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and a Board Director at TEAM Group, a prominent business group in Bangladesh known for its diversified interests and contributions to the country’s industry. She joined the business in 2022 and was formally appointed to the Board. Following the passing of the group’s founder, Mr. Abdullah Hil Rakib, in 2025, Lamia took on full responsibilities, overseeing the group’s 13 concerns.

She completed her studies at the University of Toronto and is currently continuing her academic pursuits while guiding the strategic direction and long-term vision of the organization. As a young leader, Lamia brings fresh energy, new ideas, and a forward-looking approach to addressing global challenges and driving technological adaptation.

A graduate of the University of Dhaka with a B.Sc. (Honours) in Zoology and an M.Sc. in Fisheries, he began his professional journey in 1991, building a career shaped by a consistent commitment to sales excellence, marketing leadership, and business growth. Before joining Team Pharmaceuticals Limited, he served as Marketing Director at Kemiko Pharmaceuticals Limited, where his contributions to organizational growth left a lasting impact.

As a Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer of Team Pharmaceuticals Limited, Mr. Monsur works at the intersection of strategy and execution, working closely with the Board while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization across business operations, sales and marketing, supply chain, and corporate governance.

His leadership style is customer-focused, grounded in precision, and informed by a long-term understanding of what the pharmaceutical industry demands. With more than thirty years spanning sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, business development, and strategic management, he brings a rare breadth of perspective to his role as a Member of the Board of Directors at Team Pharmaceuticals Limited.

He holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Zoology and an M.Sc. in Fisheries from the University of Dhaka — an academic foundation that trained him to think systematically and observe carefully, qualities that have defined his professional identity ever since. His career began in 1991, and over the decades that followed, he steadily built a reputation for sales excellence, market expansion, and brand development, most notably as General Manager, Market Promotion at Kemiko Pharmaceuticals Limited, where his work made a significant contribution to the organization.

Since joining Team Pharmaceuticals Limited as a Director in January 2015, Mr. Wahab has taken responsibility for Factory Operations and Distribution — two of the most operationally demanding functions in any pharmaceutical business. Under his leadership, the emphasis has remained consistent: product quality, regulatory compliance, and an efficient and reliable distribution network that helps make high-quality healthcare products available to patients across the country.
